This past Friday, STEMconnector had the chance to sit down with Dr. Mae Jemison, the first African American woman in space, and Jennifer Sirangelo, President and CEO of the National 4-H Council, in a live-streamed interview to discuss Bayer and 4-H’s Science Matters initiative, which hopes to raise awareness around agriculture science education. During the discussion, we talked about how to better communicate with students and parents how exciting jobs in agriculture really are, key findings from their newly released survey, how collaborating is helping these organizations achieve their goals, and much more!
