CSEdWeek is an annual call to inspire K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers and partners to the field.
During the See IT to Be IT virtual event, Infosys Foundation USA and Learning Blade® will present meaningful and engaging ways in which K-12 educators and mentors can support girls in pursuing a computer science education and computer science careers. In addition to concrete guidance, attendees will receive free educational and career awareness resources produced by Learning Blade and funded by Infosys Foundation USA to be used with K-12 students during CSEdWeek.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. employment within computer and information technology occupations is expected to increase by 13% between 2020 and 2030, which is faster than the average expected growth among all occupations. This event is intended for K-12 educators (in school and out of school), K-12 mentors, organizers of K-12 mentoring programs, and aspiring computer scientists. We hope you will join us!
Featured Speakers:
– Kate Maloney, Executive Director, Infosys Foundation USA
– Sheila Boyington, Co-Founder & President, Thinking Media/Learning Blade
